EdLeader Epsiode 17 - Obstacle Meet Innovation: A School District's Innovative Approach to Providing Next-Level Exterior Wi-fi
Show Notes
In this episode of EdLeader, Dr. Jackson sits down with Dr. Lory
Morrow, to discuss overcoming an obstacle that is faced by school districts
across the country and around the world: lack of access to high-quality
internet. This lack of access impacts students, families, and community
members. Dr. Morrow and her team have met that challenge with collaboration,
seeking out and using good data, and employing innovative solutions. They have created
a “Next-Level” system of exterior wi-fi.
Dr. Lory Morrow serves as the Superintendent of the Lincoln
County Schools in Lincolnton, North Carolina. She has been a public school
educator for 29 years. She is the current President-Elect for the North
Carolina Association of School Administrators (NCASA) and Past President of the
North Carolina Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (NCASCD).
